Jean-Paul Opperman (1980)
I often feel like a character in my own play. I like to wander the streets with my camera to train my eyes and with my framing have some kind of a control over a world that is never in control no matter how many rules each and every one applies to them.
At the same time I turn to my iPad to give out quick visual notes, much like snapshots of hopeful attempts. Reflections upon daily routine, a chess play about composition, structure and the need for figuration as a form of stability.
